Dopod C730

The sides and back of the C730 are made of stiff plastic with a brown metallic color. On the front, a matte-silver surface surrounds the screen and keypad. While its general shape and size are similar to the C720W, the newer model comes across as more conventional and sophisticated in its design because of the lack of striking contrasts between the silver and brown parts.

To be launched in May 2007, this smart phone will be one of the first out on the market to sport Windows Mobile 6 (WM6). This means that unlike the WM5 Smartphone Edition, it will come with Office Mobile by default, making it possible to open and edit Microsoft Office documents without third-party applications. The C730 has a 13.5mm side profile, making it slightly thicker than the 12.8mm C720W. Even so, it weighs just 120g, 10g lighter than the C720W. Those looking for a thin and light smart phone will not be disappointed with its dimensions and weight.
