Lowrance IWAY 350C - Automotive GPS with MP3 Player

OnStar Turn-by-Turn Navigation the simplest and smartest yet
Tuesday, 19-September-2006, 00:57:05  The world's largest automaker GM has announced that in 2007 the company will fundamentally change drivers' access to navigation by offering more than two million vehicles in the U.S. and Canada with the first factory-installed, fully-integrated off-board GPS navigation system -- OnStar Turn-by-Turn Navigation. The new service by Onstar for GM will be standard in most of the vehicles sold in 2007 including Buicks and Cadillacs. OnStar Turn-by-Turn Navigation will also be available on many other GM vehicles through a $100 optional upgrade package. (1467 clicks)
Daewoo DPN-3500 GPS

It has unleashed three new satellite navigation systems; the DPN-3500, the DPN-5600 and the ANK-6160 that will soon hit the European retail shelves. The DPN-3500 has a 3.5-inch LCD display and the DPN-5600 has a 5.6-inch display, and both give an industry-standard set of features. Hyundai Roadbank HTMS 18800 the sleekest DMB navigator ever

Shinco Voyager GPS 400 Review
Wednesday, 06-September-2006, 19:29:45  The design of most standalone GPS systems can best be described as functional, but Shinco's Voyager GPS 400's white finish adds a bit of variety to an already crowded market. Its colour aside, the design is similar to Navman's iCN 520 or Mio's 269+. LG unveils LN-600 and LN-700 GPS
Sunday, 03-September-2006, 20:12:42  LG has finally spilled some detail about its upcoming GPS Navigation device, the LN-600 model. The LN-600 boasts a fairly subdued black shell, but the blue-lit buttons rock a little bit of personality. The 4-inch touchscreen makes for an intuitive interface, and everything should be speeding along with the Samsung ARM9 300MHz processor running the show. Maps come by way of NateQ and Destinator, but this unit only has SiRF II. You'll also find internal speakers, 512MB of memory, and turn-by-turn voice guidance in ten languages. (1038 clicks)
Sony Launches 2 GPS Navigation Devices, Hopefully They Don't Explode
Saturday, 02-September-2006, 15:58:47  Sony has launched the NV-U81T and NV-U80 navigation units. Both of which comes loaded up with Sony's Position Plus?I'll show them a position plus...?technology for more accurate positioning and routing even when the signal is weak. The unit itself has a 4.3-inch touchscreen display with voice commands and Bluetooth for hands-free calling via a cellphone. The NV-U81T includes a 4GB hard drive for map and information storage while the NV-U80 comes with 512MB of memory. They should both be hitting the shelves this November and will likely cost an arm and a leg. (1144 clicks)

Thursday, 31-August-2006, 01:49:10  You know we were damned curious to see what the front side of the widescreen Garmin N?vi 660 looked like. Unfortunately for us, it looks remarkably like like the N?vi 300 and 360, but that doesn't mean we're not gonna write about it. As you may know, according to best buy this device should have a 4.3-inch 480 x 272 display, 700MB of internal storage, SD slot (duh), and all the rest of the GPS power that makes a Garmin a Garmin. Yakumo EasyGo XSC GPS Navigation

The good thing, it's not just an ugraded version as it does come with a whole new TV look-a-like design. Powered by Nemerix 16-channels GPS receiver and Samsung's S3C2410A To (266Mhz) processor, the GPS device features a 32MB of ROM, 64MB of RAM, a large 3.5-inch 65K colors TFT LCD display with 240 x 320 resolution, a SD card port (up to 2GB supported), miniUSB connection, and up to 2 hours of autonomy.
