Friday, 01-September-2006, 04:14:54 Tikko, a Japanese designer, presents a crystalized Nintendo DS Lite for just $390 or around 45,000 Yen. So, what's a modified DS Lite worth of three original Lites proud for? Well, take a look at the flap of its LCD and you'll find the reason - a hundreds of Swarovski Crystals embedded on it. I'm not sure whether one who buy this luxury gaming device will still want to carry it along and play it anywhere without worrying someone would stole it. Sony To Cut Down PSP Price By $50
Thursday, 31-August-2006, 16:28:02 According to market analyst, Sony is expected to drop the price of its portable gaming console, PSP, down to $150, which is a $50 off from its current $200 retail price. The reason behind this expectation is that Sony probably has too much stock of PSP right now, due to the lose of sales between the device and Nintendo DS / DS Lite. The DS itself is retailed for around $130. By offering a lower price which is just a little bit higher than its competitor, Sony could further increase the sales of Playstaion Portable. It?s also speculated that Sony may bundle a game or two with the devices at the lower price. (959 clicks)
Disney GAME iT! portable consoles for the PB&J crowd
Thursday, 31-August-2006, 02:08:23 Probably not too hopeful about taking a big bite out of the PSP's or DS's market share, a company called Performance Designed Products is nonetheless releasing a new pair of portable 2.5-inch consoles that bring together the magic of Disney with the gaming excitement that only 90's era 16-bit processing can provide. Although not being advertised as such, the flame-adorned Classic Pals and all-pink, heart-shaped Princess Pals are clearly being targeted at either one gender or the other, a notion only furthered by the mix of characters chosen for these so-called Disney GAME iT! devices.
